LEAD SALES ASSOCIATE-PT in NEENAH, WI S21847
Join the Dollar General team as a part‑time Lead Sales Associate in Neenah, WI. In this role you will act as a primary employee during the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, ensuring smooth store operations, customer service excellence, and profitability.

Responsibilities- Unload trucks, receive, open and unpack cartons, and stocks merchandise.
- Rotate, face merchandise, build displays, and restock returned items.
- Implement and maintain plan‑ograms and sales programs.
- Assist customers in locating merchandise, provide superior customer service, and greet shoppers as they enter.
- Maintain register counters, operate the cash register and flatbed scanner, bag merchandise, collect payments, make change, and handle flat‑bed scanner functions.
- Clean the front end of the store, set up sidewalk displays, and maintain a safe, clean shopping environment.
- When absent of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, authorize refunds and overrides, count registers, make bank deposits, maintain strict cashier accountability, key control, and oversee cash control procedures.
- Monitor cash levels, make drawer pulls as directed, supervise cameras, and assist in all necessary paperwork and documentation per guidelines.
- Open and close the store under the Direction of the Area Manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent; six months of supervisory or related experience preferred.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations, read plan‑ograms, and understand safety policies.
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures, cashier accountability, deposit control, and IBM cash register functions.
- Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with cash, facility, and safety control policies and practices.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
- Handling merchandise and equipment such as handheld scanners, pricing guns, box cutters, dolly carts, and rolltainers.
- Occasional climbing with a step ladder up to six feet and exposure to outside weather conditions.
- Fast‑paced environment with moderate noise levels and occasional driving to make bank deposits or attend meetings.
