Maintenance Technician – Envolve LLC, Western Townhomes
Job SummaryEnvolve Client Services Group owns and manages apartment communities throughout the southeastern United States. We seek a self‑motivated maintenance technician who will perform repairs, troubleshoot systems, and carry out preventive maintenance on all apartment equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform repairs, troubleshoot systems, and complete preventive maintenance.
- Maintain HVAC, appliances, water heaters, electrical, plumbing, and other equipment.
- Be available for emergency maintenance calls on a 24‑hour schedule when required.
- Assist in training groundskeepers and entry‑level maintenance technicians.
- Conduct maintenance‑related inspections and prepare properties for regulatory inspections.
- Winterize facilities, inspect HVAC systems, and maintain pool equipment and chemicals.
- Inspect vacant units and paint turnovers as needed.
- Document quality of subcontracted service work.
- Maintain common areas, remove litter, debris, snow and ice from walkways.
- Attend and complete required training.
- Record maintenance requests, follow proper procedures and maintain parts inventory.
- Move heavy equipment safely using proper equipment.
- Ensure compliance with Affordable Housing programs such as HUD, USDA, LIHTC, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum two years of maintenance experience or equivalent education and work experience.
- College degree preferred.
- HVAC and/or EPA certification preferred.
- Previous multifamily experience preferred.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred.
Rate: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour.
