Duties:

Conduct vehicle diagnostics using technical literature and testing equipment
Perform routine servicing, MOT inspections, and warranty repairs to manufacturer standards
Identify vehicle faults accurately and recommend appropriate repairs
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and diagnostics performed
Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear and professional explanations
Upkeep of workshop tools and equipment, ensuring safety and operational standards
Participate in manufacturer training to stay updated with technological advances and procedures

Candidate Specification:

Recognised apprenticeship or relevant equivalent training
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in vehicle service and repair within a dealership environment
Valid MOT tester certification
Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and testing procedures
Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness
Customer-focused approach and strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to high standards of quality and safety
