Position Summary
Euravia Engineering & Supply Co Ltd, part of Magellan Aerospace Kelbrook, Lancashire, offers an exciting Business Development Manager opportunity. This role focuses on expanding Euravia’s PT6 (turbo prop and turbo shaft engines) and RR250 customer base, increasing customer awareness, maintaining profitable growth in accordance with the Strategic Business Plan, and building strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.

- Support the General Manager and wider management team to establish, implement and manage short, medium and long‑term operational plans and objectives.
- Develop new market opportunities through customer research, project planning, budgeting, marketing communications, implementation and cost management for defined market segments.
- Target market and customer segments to maximise Euravia’s resources and optimize revenue and profit growth.
- Maintain close customer relationships and act as the main point of contact for potential and existing customers, investigating, resolving and managing complex projects with long‑term commercial implications.
- Address new customer requirements and expectations in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with Customer Services Department for cost estimation review and identify opportunities to enhance profitability.
- Establish and manage overseas Agents and Partners, defining responsibilities, assigning objectives and reviewing performance.
- Interact regularly with management, ensuring clear, accurate, and professional customer feedback.
- Achieve relevant KPIs and recommend actions to optimize results.
- Identify and seek training and development opportunities to increase personal effectiveness.
- Provide Out of Hours Emergency Cover (mobile telephone contact) as needed.
- Perform any other reasonable duties in support of business needs.
- GCSE or equivalent including Maths & English.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability for overseas travel to visit customers and attend trade shows.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferably Engineering or Business) or equivalent education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of the aero engine MRO industry.
- Experience in the PT6 and RR250 aero engine MRO sector.
- Minimum of 5 years of direct sales / customer service experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of business development / management experience.
