Solutions Team is growing its presence across Nelson, Tasman and Marlborough, and we are keen to hear from experienced Building Control Officers who may be looking for their next opportunity.

We have opportunities across building consent processing, inspections, or a combination of both, depending on your experience, competencies and what works best for you.

You will be employed directly by Solutions Team and become part of an experienced nationwide team, while working within the Nelson, Tasman and Marlborough region.

Depending on your skills and experience, your role may include processing building consent applications, undertaking building inspections, or a combination of both.

You will use your technical knowledge of the Building Act, Building Code and associated requirements to achieve practical and compliant outcomes, while building positive relationships with clients, industry professionals and colleagues.

Ideally, you will have:

• Building consent processing and/or inspection experience
• Sound knowledge of the New Zealand Building Act and Building Code
• Current or recent competency within a BCA environment
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A practical, solutions-focused approach
• A full New Zealand driver's licence

Established in 2014, Solutions Team provides building compliance services across New Zealand, including building consent processing and inspections, technical training, and professional and management support.

We work with councils, government agencies, construction companies and private clients and have built our reputation around quality, practical solutions and strong working relationships.
