About the role:
Justteachers is seeking an English Teacher who is looking for a Long term role, in a Secondary school in the Colne area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence from September 2026. The school are looking at shortlisting soon to interview for the role.
A smaller secondary environment where staff know pupils well and work closely with families. The school offers a nurturing atmosphere, a structured behaviour system and a commitment to helping learners grow in confidence
Key Responsibilities:- Teaching English language and literature across KS3 and KS4
- Planning, marking and assessing work in line with curriculum
- Supporting pupils’ reading, writing and analytical skills
- Managing classroom behaviour and promoting engagement
- QTS or PGCE in English
- UK secondary teaching experience
- Strong subject knowledge across KS3–KS4
- Confident in planning and marking English curriculum
