About the role:
Justteachers is seeking a Teaching Assistant who is looking for a long‑term role, in a primary school in the Nelson area on a full‑time basis. The role is set to commence from September with the school looking at short‑listing ASAP to meet with candidates.
A warm and community‑centred primary setting with a strong emphasis on nurture and positive relationships. Staff work closely with families, creating a supportive environment where pupils feel valued and encouraged to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4
- Providing small‑group and 1:1 support
- Assisting with behaviour management and classroom routines
- Helping with resources, supervision and pupil engagement
- Experience supporting learning in UK primary or secondary schools
- Understanding of safeguarding and SEND
- Ability to assist with small group and 1:1 support
- Confident managing behaviour and classroom routines
