We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious Teaching Assistant Level 3 to work within our Physical Development Team at Pendle View Primary School. This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced person to join our outstanding staff team. The successful candidate may have experience working in schools with pupils with physical disabilities or may come from a medical background with a high level of experience working with children with physical disabilities.

The successful candidate will be working closely with Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.

The successful candidate will be working alongside an HLTA as part of a specialist physical development team at Pendle View.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis.

• NVQ level 3 or above qualification or equivalent
• Maths and English Language GCSE A* - C or equivalent qualification

• Experience of working with children at a TA2b or above or equivalent, within a special school environment or within a relevant health setting.
• Experience of administrative work with a special school classroom or relevant health setting
• Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and/or medical needs within a special school environment or relevant health setting
