Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location:
Nelson
Salary:
Starting at £52,000 increasing after probation completed.
Contract:
Full-time, Permanent
Shifts:
12‑hour rotating shifts – 42‑hour average week (please ask for the visual pattern).
- Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance on pumps, conveyors, and packaging machinery
- Responding to breakdowns and ensuring minimum downtime
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency
- Working collaboratively within a skilled engineering team
- Helping shape a proactive, solutions‑driven maintenance culture
- A Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Solid experience in both mechanical fitting and electrical fault finding.
- A background in manufacturing, ideally food, drink, or packaging.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
