Finance Business Partner - Colne

Morrisons is recruiting for a Accountant at it’s manufacturing site in Colne. The role will provide critical support to our Meat Accounting Team, preparing weekly P&L Consolidation for the 3 sites, and completing group reporting. The role will report into the meat division Finance manager and will be central to driving improved reporting and group results.

• Preparation of weekly P&L and consolidation across 3 sites.
• Weekly P&L Pack preparation.
• Insight & Analysis for Site General Managers.
• Month End Journals and reconciliation.
• Other Adhoc Projects

• A professional qualification of CIMA, ACA, ACCA, AAT or equivalent
• Knowledge of financial and management accounting
• An ability to deliver in a complex, fast paced environment
• Excellent analytical thinking and numerical skills
• Excellent Microsoft Excel or Google sheets skills
• Good verbal communication skills, ability to articulate financial data in a clear and transparent way
• Resilience and ability to adapt in an ever changing environment
• Experience of stakeholder management
• Experience of having to prioritise to meet deadlines

Here our 840 colleagues work five days a week, producing meat and raw materials for sausages, pies and more. We supply our stores and Farmers Boy with 150 products. Everything from pork shanks and beef fillets to oxtail primals and pork shoulder joints.
