Cambridgeshire (commutable from Peterborough, Huntingdon, St Neots, Wisbech, March, Stamford, Spalding, Whittlesey, Ramsey and surrounding areas) | Salary:
Up to £50,000 | Shift: 4 on 4 off, Days

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business in Cambridgeshire for a Multi-Skilled Shift Lead Engineer to join their engineering team.

This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of your shift, leading a small team while staying close to the tools. You'll be responsible for repairs, planned maintenance, and keeping things running smoothly, with real scope to shape how the shift operates.

• Leading and managing a small team (day and night shift engineers)
• Hands-on repairs and PM work across site
• Acting as the main point of contact for your shift
• Flexible 4 on 4 off shift pattern, days
• Genuine opportunity for training and development from senior engineering management

• Multi-skilled engineer
• NVQ Level 2 or 3, ideally with a Level 3 in Electrical
• Strong character with a proactive approach, someone who leads by example
• Food or FMCG manufacturing experience desirable, but not essential
• Someone early in their leadership journey looking for the next step
