I am recruiting for two workshop based Mechanical fitter to manufacture and assemble pieces of equipment.
Main Responsibilities
* To undertake projects to ensure that they comply with relevant customer specifications.
* Modify & rebuild existing machines.
* To manufacture new machines.
* Ability to read and work from design drawings
* To work and keep a selection of spare parts for the above machines.
* To communicate and report progress to their manager on jobs.
* To report snagging details which may need identifying and correcting.
* To work to a high standard through the manufacturing and rebuilding of the machines.
* Work on own initiative clean and tidy area
* To work within and follow Health and Safety guidelines.
LOCATION - Nelson
SHIFT - Days (39 hours per week)
SALARY - £(phone number removed) (£16.35 per hour)
Overtime - 1.5 times hourly rate
Working Hours - Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30 & Friday: 07:30 - 12:30
Pension - Matched contributions up to 7%
Death in Service - 2 x annual salary
Holidays - 25 + 8 statutory
