The Role As an Upholsterer, you will play a key role in producing high-quality mattresses, divans, headboards and upholstered bed products. Working as part of a skilled manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring products are upholstered accurately, efficiently and to the highest quality standards
Key Responsibilities Upholstering mattresses, divans, headboards and other bedding products to specification Fitting fabrics, foam, padding and coverings using hand tools and pneumatic equipment Measuring, cutting and preparing materials for production Operating upholstery tools and equipment safely and efficiently Ensuring products meet quality standards and customer specifications Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment Working collaboratively with colleagues across production departments What We're Looking For Essential Previous upholstery experience or experience within a furniture manufacturing environment Good attention to detail and commitment to quality Strong manual dexterity and practical skills Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications Positive attitude and strong work ethic
