Our Equipment Technician team operates over two sites
- Oak Tree House (BB18) and Coleby House (BD23)
Salary: £27,297 - £32,500 per annum, DOE + Excellent Benefits!
Hours:
40 per week, Monday

What You'll Be Doing- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across a wide range of laboratory equipment
- Investigating faults and helping resolve technical issues quickly and effectively
- Acting as the first point of contact when equipment users need support
- Working with laboratory teams to minimise disruption and prioritise critical equipment
- Supporting equipment qualification activities, including IQ, OQ and PQ
- Assisting with troubleshooting investigations, risk assessments and root cause analysis
- Monitoring equipment and facilities to ensure they remain compliant and operational
- Managing spare parts and consumable stock levels
- Producing clear, accurate documentation that supports GMP and UKAS requirements
- Contributing ideas that improve processes, efficiency and reliability
This role supports activities across both our Oak Tree House and Coleby House sites, so flexibility is important.
What We're Looking For- A degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
- At least two years of experience working within a laboratory environment supporting similar equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Practical maintenance, repair or technical fault-finding experience
- Good IT skills and a general understanding of hardware, software and networks
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- A full UK driving licence
- Bonus Points If You Have Experience With
- Chromatography systems
- Mass spectrometry instrumentation
- Chromatography Data Systems (CDS)
- Equipment validation and qualification
- GMP, UKAS or ISO 17025 regulated environments
