What you will do:
Working broadly across AI-enabled Software Development and Architecture, you’ll be joining a small, focussed development team within a larger technology group, designing, developing and maintaining a business critical platform that touches all corners of their business. You can expect to be spending time in the business understanding key requirements, business drivers, and bringing these into the software design process, owning architectural product decisions across product features, data flows and integrations.

You’ll solve complex issues, ensure successful scalability and reliability of applications, and work within a close knit team of dedicated developers, testers and trainers.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• A strong interest in AI-enabled coding practices - Claude
• Understanding of Dev Ops practises and CI/CD pipelines
• Senior level software engineering experience
• Strong understanding of modern .Net frameworks and architecture
• Strong understanding of front-end UI frameworks (.e.g React)
• Knowledge of database design and management
• Familiarity with integrations and cloud platforms
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to problem solve, investigate and see the bigger picture

Applicants must be based in Nelson, or willing to relocate, as this is a full time onsite role. Applicants must also hold a full NZ drivers licence, and long term working rights in NZ.
