Bring accurate bookkeeping and advanced Excel skills to Shambhala Music Festival in Nelson, British Columbia, with festival-site work near Salmo during July.
This temporary, full-time Bookkeeper provides maternity leave coverage from January 7, 2027, through approximately February 2028. You will record transactions, maintain financial records, reconcile accounts, manage payables and receivables, and support payroll. The position also contributes to financial reporting and administrative compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Record transactions using accounting software
- Maintain invoices, receipts, and financial records
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Process invoices, payments, and customer collections
- Support payroll and financial reporting processes
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven bookkeeping or related financial experience
- Accounting software familiarity, including Quick Books, Xero, or Sage
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets functions
- Accuracy, organization, reliability, and professional communication
