French-Medium Educator

Join Nelson’s Classroom Success team as a Freelance Educator focused on French and French Immersion. You'll lead professional development sessions to integrate the Edwin platform into educators' practices.

This role allows you to empower teachers by providing real-time coaching on lesson plans and assessments, while also collaborating with the Content & Curriculum team. Participate in onboarding training and conduct pre-session interviews to align on goals, ensuring a tailored approach to each session's needs within a flexible 10 to 25 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct French training sessions for educators

• Offer hands-on support in lesson planning with Edwin

• Collaborate on French-language resource development

• Utilize digital supports to enhance sessions

• Ensure feedback is collected after each training

Requirements:

• Fluent in French, both spoken and written

• OCT certified with relevant teaching experience

• Strong facilitation and presentation skills

• Proficient with digital platforms

• Available for virtual and occasional in-person sessions
