Position: Summer Teacher for Math Courses
Elev8 DESK Program is hiring a passionate teacher for senior Math and Science courses this summer. Experience a rewarding role in shaping young minds!

The position includes teaching Work Place Math 10, Work Place Math 11, Pre-Calculus 11, and impactful Earth Science 11 classes. A successful candidate will demonstrate familiarity with the D2L/Brightspace teaching platform and have strong knowledge of high school Math courses. A valid British Columbia certification or eligibility for it is a prerequisite by the assignment start date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct Work Place Math 10 and 11 effectively

• Teach classes for Pre-Calculus 11 and Earth Science 11

• Provide instruction for Accounting 11 courses

• Manage and adapt content based on students’ needs

• Engage with students via D2L/Brightspace platform

Requirements:

• Certified in British Columbia or eligible

• Experience with senior high Math curriculum

• Proficiency with D2L/Brightspace platform

• Strong teaching and organizational skills

• Ability to foster student engagement
