The Nelson Nordic Ski Club seeks enthusiastic Activity Leaders for the School Outreach Program, running from January through mid-March. This role involves coaching students in various settings, ensuring safety, and delivering skill-building sessions via fun activities.

Experience with youth in outdoor educational programs is essential, and candidates should possess basic cross-country skiing ability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage up to 30 students in winter conditions

• Collaborate with leaders to plan and deliver activity sessions

• Introduce school groups to program facilities

• Outfit participants with suitable equipment

• Facilitate games and skill development activities

Requirements:

• Experience working with kids in recreational settings

• Basic cross-country ski knowledge

• Valid First Aid certification required

• Ability to work independently and in teams

• Clean Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
