Temporary Custodial Worker Nelson Campus

Transform spaces as a Temporary Building Service Worker at the Nelson Tenth Street campus. This role primarily includes custodial services, maintenance tasks, and ensuring campus security.

You will report to the Campus Manager and play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the facility. The position requires strong physical capabilities and excellent interpersonal skills. Successful candidates will need flexible schedules and dependable transportation for this temporary position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general cleaning tasks such as dusting, washing, and mopping

• Perform heavy lifting and manual tasks, including furniture movement

• Ensure the exterior of the building is maintained, including windows

• Monitor security and report issues to facility management

• Assist with emergency protocols and event setups

Requirements:

• High school graduation and custodial training certificate

• Valid WHMIS training and Class 5 Driver’s License

• Minimum one year custodial work experience in a public institution

• First Aid Certification preferred

• Demonstrated skills in multi-tasking and customer service
