Primary Care Registered Nurse at Fort

Join the Fort Nelson Health Unit as a dedicated Primary Care Nurse. Deliver compassionate patient care with a focus on assessment and intervention, working Monday to Friday. We are looking for a motivated Registered Nurse to support our interprofessional team in providing ethical and competent care.

This role involves working with patients and their families in various settings, including homes and communities. You will implement primary care plans while collaborating closely with team members, ensuring that care aligns with patients' personal goals.

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments and ongoing evaluations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for patient-centered care
• Teach and educate patients and families using adult learning principles
• Manage time and resources for effective service delivery
• Promote population health and harm reduction approaches

• Current registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• Three years of recent primary care nursing experience
• Valid BC Driver's License
• Robust communication and critical thinking skills
• Physical ability to perform nursing duties
