AS350 Line Pilot at Columbia Helicopters

Columbia Helicopters is seeking an experienced AS350 Line Pilot for a year-round position in Nelson, British Columbia. Engage in diverse mountain operations including wildfire support and utility work while ensuring safety and professionalism.

This permanent, full-time role features a 14-day on/off rotation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, operational judgment, and significant AS350 experience. Responsibilities include planning flights, collaborating with ground crews, and maintaining high aircraft standards to enhance operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as pilot-in-command of AS350 aircraft

• Conduct flights per regulations and safety standards

• Manage mountain and remote operations as qualified

• Plan and complete weight-and-balance calculations

• Coordinate with ground crews and clients

Requirements:

• Valid Canadian Commercial Pilot Licence – Helicopter

• Minimum 2,000 rotary flight hours required

• At least 700 hours of AS350 experience

• 300 hours mountain flying experience

• Strong teamwork and customer service skills
