A contract opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist at a 400‑bed hospital located in the Neosho, MO area. The role supports a reputable health system and involves a variable schedule, mainly afternoons, with a structure of four 10‑hour shifts per week.
Responsibilities- Order verification
- Supervising pharmacy technicians
- Providing consultations to nurses and physicians
- Utilizing EPIC and Pyxis systems to manage workflows
- Proven experience as a Staff Pharmacist in a hospital setting
- Familiarity with order verification processes and medication safety protocols
- Ability to supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with nursing and medical staff
- Experience with EPIC and Pyxis systems preferred
- Neosho, MO (close to Joplin, MO)
- Variable days and afternoons
