Production Operator - 3rd Shift

Job Summary

Nutra Blend is an industry leader in manufacturing and distributing quality vitamin, trace mineral, micro-ingredients and antibiotic premixes for the feed industry.

SHIFT: 3rd Shift; 11:00 pm to 7:30 am M‑F

PAY: $20.96/hr. + shift differential.

The Production Operator is the front-line employee who performs the manufacturing processes that add value and quality to the inputs and create the final high-quality final products. In all stages of production safety, attention to detail, a quality and sanitation focus, and efficiency are key to the success of the operation.

• 6 plus months of manufacturing experience required
• Basic computer skills

• Age: 18 years or older
• Comprehension:
  Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions.
• Critical Thinking:
  Using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of solutions.
• Safety:
  Ensuring the complete physical safety of oneself and coworkers at all times.
• Time Management:
  Showing up on time, reliably completing tasks by the deadline, adapting to changes.
• Coordination:
  Working well with others to meet team goals and adjusting to important changes.
• Active Learning:
  Understanding implications of new information for problem‑solving.
• Active Listening:
  Giving full attention to what others are saying, asking questions as appropriate.

• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling.
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
• Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present.
• Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtime.
