Commercial Account Handler
Wirral, Merseyside | £30,000 - £38,000 | Hybrid
A well-established insurance brokerage based on the Wirral is looking for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join its growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 2-3+ years' commercial insurance broking experience who enjoys managing client relationships, renewals and mid-term adjustments across a varied commercial client base.
The Role- You'll manage an existing portfolio of commercial clients, providing a high level of service while supporting renewals and new business opportunities.
- Managing renewals, MTAs and day-to-day client enquiries
- Handling commercial products including Property, Liability, Professional Indemnity, Contract Works and Motor Trade
- Obtaining, negotiating and presenting quotations from insurers
- Preparing accurate risk presentations and ensuring appropriate cover is in place
- Reviewing clients' insurance needs and identifying additional cover requirements
- Supporting new business enquiries and quotations
- Liaising with clients and insurers to ensure policies are placed and serviced accurately
- Maintaining accurate records and complying with FCA and regulatory requirements
- Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and insurers
- 2-3+ years' commercial lines insurance broking experience
- Good knowledge of commercial insurance products and policy wordings
- Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a client-focused approach
- Experience with Acturis would be advantageous
- Cert CII preferred, or a willingness to work towards it - study support available
- £30,000 - £38,000 depending on experience, with hybrid working in the Wirral office.
