Salary: £13.00 per hour with overtime up to £26.00 per hour

Hours:

Mon-Fri or Any 5 of 7 including weekends, 06:00-14:00 Full Time 40 hours, 40 minutes break fully paid.

Requirements:
Attention to detail.

Ability to follow instructions and procedures.

The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.

Previous experience of working in hygiene role preferable but not essential as full training will be given.

Manual handling skills Numeracy and literacy as appropriate for the role.

Responsibilities:
As a Slicing production operative, you will:

• Machine Setup & Operation :
  Loading bulk products into high-speed slicing machines and setting precise thickness and weight configurations.
• Portion & Quality Control:
  Constantly checking sliced packs to ensure correct weight, appearance, and shingle pattern before they hit the packaging line.
• Waste Minimization :
  Monitoring the machinery to reduce product giveaway (overweight packs).
• Strict Hygiene Control:
  Operating in high-care, chilled environments, requiring strict personal sanitisation to prevent contamination of ready-to-eat foods.
