This is how you make impact as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer  As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, you play a key role in strengthening operational performance across our PCBA production environment. You drive the reduction of internal and external defects, improve manufacturing processes, and ensure that quality standards are consistently met. By focusing on preventive quality, structured problem solving, and cross‑functional collaboration, you help secure stable production flows, minimize disruptions, and elevate customer satisfaction.

Required qualifications:

A relevant technical MBO or HBO qualification (e.g., Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering).
Knowledge of PCBA processes (solder paste printing, pick & place, reflow, wave solder, AOI, ICT/FCT).

Experience with quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, PPAP, MSA, 8D.
Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC‑A‑610 certification is a plus).
Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in high‑mix/low‑volume or automotive/medical PCBA manufacturing.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.

Experience with reliability testing (HALT, HASS, thermal cycling).
Knowledge of advanced inspection technologies (3D AOI/SPI, AXI).
Detail‑oriented and structured problem solver.
Strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality excellence.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Hands‑on mindset and willingness to be present on the production floor.
Your daily responsibilities include   Acting as the primary quality contact for production, providing hands‑on support on the factory floor.
Leading or supporting escalations and deep‑dive root‑cause investigations for high‑impact issues.
Performing First Article and First Inspection analyses on prototypes and pilot builds.
Managing material complaints and quality deviations, including preparing and leading 8D reports.
Coordinating containment actions, stock checks, and rework activities with Production and Engineering.
Driving preventive quality activities and maintaining key quality controls (Control Plans, PFMEAs, Work Instructions, monitoring, process parameter reviews).
Leading and participating in multidisciplinary improvement teams and acting as 8D leader for complex problems.
Tracking and analyzing Manufacturing Quality KPIs (yield, FPY, scrap, PPM).
Initiating PDCA‑based improvement projects and ensuring effective incoming/outgoing inspection controls.
Planning and executing process audits (e.g., VDA 6.3) and following up on action plans.
Supporting QMS improvements and performing internal audits according to ISO standards.
Collaborating as one Quality team with Supplier Quality, Customer Quality Engineering, Design Quality, and Account Engineering teams.
Building trust and confidence across the organization and facilitating structured decision-making using methodologies such as 5W2H.
