Role Description
As a Product Development Manager, you will lead end-to-end development of innovative nutrition products by translating consumer and business needs into scalable product solutions. You will collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, technology, marketing, and external partners to drive formulation, testing, and commercialization within the medical nutrition category, ensuring delivery of innovation projects aligned with strategic growth objectives.
Responsibilities
Apply consumer-focused and exploratory approaches to develop innovative and renovated products in the adult medical nutrition category.
Translate long-term business and market insights into actionable R&D projects.
Manage the entire product development lifecycle, including concept shaping, laboratory testing, trials, and final delivery.
Contribute to category meetings to support strategic growth initiatives.
Collaborate closely with third-party manufacturers and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
Critically assess current development processes, challenge existing methods, and capture valuable insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements
MSc or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Bio-Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Nutrition Science, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in product development or R&D, ideally within the nutrition or food sectors.
Strong project management skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.
Innovative, consumer-oriented mindset with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and autonomously, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
