Job Description & How to Apply Below
Electromechanical Designer
This job is in the Netherlands.
As an electromechanical designer you like to jump in right at the beginning of a project. In this phase you are involved in making an inventory of specifications, drawing up the specifications, and the start of the electromechanical 3D design of a (high‑tech) machine or module. You work with programs such as Siemens NX to generate 3D designs in combination with your electrical knowledge to determine exactly where to place cables or other electrical components.
You communicate directly with the customer during the design phase about the status of the project and, where necessary, map out the demands in order to take the result to an even higher level. Because of the multidisciplinary nature of these projects, you often liaise with colleagues from other departments such as mechanical engineering or software. This requires strong communication skills and a proactive work ethic.
Your profile
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical engineering or Mechatronics
At least 2 years of experience
Experience with 3D drawing programs, preferably Siemens NX
Knowledge and experience with MS Office
Strong spoken and written communication skills
Good English communication skills
