Business Application Consultant (IT) – Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Do you want to join IT our team in The Netherlands?
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Application Consultant (IT) specializing in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to join our IT Integrated Platforms & New Technologies team. This role can be executed either in Den Bosch or Bakel. GEA is one of the world's largest suppliers of systems for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical sectors. Our portfolio includes machinery and installations, advanced process technology, components and comprehensive services.
These are used across various industries to improve the sustainability and efficiency of production processes worldwide.
Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and objectives related to our critical engineering applications.
Implement, configure, customize, and support Siemens Teamcenter environment and its integrations with various CAD tools.
Conduct thorough assessments of clients' current PLM processes and systems.
Develop and present comprehensive PLM strategies and solutions tailored to clients' requirements.
Lead implementation and migration of PLM solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and security compliance.
Perform day-to-day IT application support for CAD- and PLM solutions.
Provide training and support to clients' teams to ensure successful adoption of PLM solutions.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented PLM solutions, making necessary adjustments to optimize results.
Stay up to date with the latest PLM trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in PLM consulting or a related role.
In-depth knowledge of PLM processes, tools, and technologies.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience with PLM system administration, preferably Siemens Teamcenter.
Knowledge with CAD interfaces, especially Solid Works, Inventor and CREO.
Strong knowledge about Windows, infrastructure and network environments.
