Position: Engineer Electrical & Instrumentation (junior)
Location: Kinderdijk

Lead Engineer Electrical & Instrumentation (junior)  The role involves supporting senior and lead engineers with the design, development and implementation of electrical systems within multidisciplinary engineering projects. It is a junior level entry that balances technical depth with professional growth, providing a clear path to future management.
Responsibilities   Assist in the development of basic and detailed electrical designs
Translate specifications and requirements into engineering deliverables
Support preparation of engineering packages and documentation
Create and update electrical schematics (e.g. EPLAN), as‑built drawings, technical documentation and reports
Maintain engineering part data in systems (e.g. Eplan + Teamcenter)
Analyse technical requirements and specifications
Support troubleshooting and resolution of design or integration issues
Contribute to risk and feasibility assessments
Identify improvement opportunities in designs, engineering processes and data quality
Support standardisation and reuse of solutions
Qualifications   bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
related work experience in the maritime industry
proficiency with design tools such as EPLAN, AutoCAD (2D/3D drafting) and mechanical applications (Solid Works/Solid Edge)
experience with PLM systems such as Siemens Team Center or SAP ERP tools
fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus
Gross monthly salary between €4,000 and €5,000, plus holiday allowance, commuting allowance, profit‑sharing scheme and a range of benefit options including pension, insurance, and training budget.
