Job Description
Imagine stepping into a role where your expertise directly influences how a brand-new manufacturing site performs. As a Maintenance Reliability Engineer you will play an important role in transforming a just‑commissioned biotech facility in Sassenheim into a benchmark for reliability, efficiency and asset management excellence.

In this role, you will drive the optimization of equipment reliability, embed sustainable asset management practices and lead continuous improvement across maintenance processes. Your work will ensure that the site transitions smoothly into full‑scale manufacturing while building a strong, future‑proof maintenance foundation.

You will be part of the broader Leiden maintenance organization (~80 FTE), while maintaining a dedicated focus on supporting the Sassenheim site, a site that is going into actual manufacturing soon. Here you will take ownership of improving system and equipment reliability, actively identifying opportunities and implementing impactful improvements that enhance performance and reduce risk.

Working with state‑of‑the‑art biotech manufacturing and utility systems, you will apply your expertise in reliability engineering and asset management to create lasting value.
