At Bosal in Vianen, we manufacture high-quality fuel tanks for trucks. It is a modern, partially automated production process in which we produce more than 80 different variants.
Currently, we are looking for a Manager Engineering & Manufacturing to join our team in Vianen (the Netherlands):
In this role, you will manage, organize and develop the Engineering and Industrialization department, providing both operational leadership and strategic direction.
Responsibilities Lead the industrialization process of high-quality fuel tanks, implementing advanced manufacturing technologies, and ensuring that products and processes meet customer expectations, quality standards and market requirements.
Manage and develop the Engineering department (6 FTE), providing effective leadership, coaching, and project support.
Build and strengthen the organization's engineering capabilities to ensure product and process designs are manufacturable, efficient, and compliant with customer quality requirements.
Represent the plant within cross-functional program and project teams.
Drive continuous improvement of the plant layout and manufacturing flows to support operational excellence and manufacturing efficiency.
Manage standardization across all departments and assure consistent application of Engineering standards and requirements.
Lead manufacturing development initiatives and engineering resources to support the next generation of products, systems, and market opportunities.
Own and manage departmental operating, capital, and personnel budgets.
Foster a culture of open communication, employee engagement, and continuous improvement within the team.
Your profile
Skills & experience:
Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
At least 8 years of relevant experience in an engineering and/or manufacturing leadership role.
Strong technical expertise and a solid understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead, develop, and inspire technical teams.
Experience with component manufacturing and/or complex systems is preferred.
Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to senior management.
