A technical installation company is looking for a  Freelance Project Coordinator  to support the delivery of a major electrical building services project within a complex high-rise redevelopment environment.
The project involves the expansion and modernisation of a multi-story university building in Rotterdam, combining large-scale electrical installations within an older building structure with strict technical and regulatory requirements.
The role combines responsibilities across both  project coordination and work planning , requiring someone capable of managing technical preparation, planning and execution activities across engineering and site teams.
Role Responsibilities   Coordinate daily project execution across office, engineering and site teams
Support planning, sequencing and coordination of electrical installation activities
Review and approve electrical drawings, calculations and technical documentation
Produce and verify technical calculations where required
Prepare work planning activities and installation schedules
Coordinate material calculations, procurement and ordering activities
Organise meetings with contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders
Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, planners and site teams throughout project phases
Maintain oversight of project progress, priorities and technical deliverables
Support execution of electrical power, lighting, fire protection, security and control systems
Ensure work is delivered in line with Dutch building regulations and project requirements
Support ramp-up and coordination of site activities during project growth phases
Requirements   Experience as a  Project Coordinator or Senior Work Planner  within electrical building services projects
Strong electrical installation background
Experience working on large or technically complex construction projects
Experience reviewing technical drawings, engineering documentation and calculations
Experience coordinating materials, planning and installation activities
Ability to coordinate engineers, planners, subcontractors and site teams
Strong understanding of Dutch building regulations and compliance requirements
Strong communication and coordination capability
