Senior Solution Engineer

Location: 's-Hertogenbosch

Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for a talented and passionate Senior Solution Engineer who has in-depth knowledge in Computer Server Architecture, Software, Firmware, and Server Racks. You will be responsible for providing support to our enterprise customers, internal teams, and production. The ideal candidate must have a strong technical background in computer systems as well as exceptional communication skills – the ability to interface with all levels of management staff in a professional manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

Work directly with customers and internal teams to resolve technical issues involving but not limited to motherboards, server systems, operating system etc.

Identify and resolve issues with a primary focus on providing solutions and improvements.

Strong sense of accountability and ownership for all technical issues.

Assist the product management team to resolve technical issues.

Provide quick response and support for issues in production.

Continually develop knowledge base of current and new products.

Work with internal teams and teams worldwide for coordinating and resolving issues.

Qualifications:

10+ years of direct experience in computing hardware/Solutions.

Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems is a must.

Proven quantitative, analytical, and technical skills.

Self‑starter and high motivation to excel and succeed.

Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.

Superior communication and teamwork skills.

Fluency in oral and written English is a must.

Extremely well organized and able to handle multiple products.

Ability to interact with diverse technical and non‑technical groups, spanning all organizational levels.

BSEE/CS, or equivalent. MSEE is desirable.
