Senior Service Engineer

Your Impact & Responsibilities
Provide hands‑on technical expertise and mechanical troubleshooting for ship propulsion systems.
Perform inspections, adjustments, fine‑tuning, and repairs to ensure optimal performance of propulsion systems, including Controllable Pitch Propellers, Gearboxes, Water Jets, and Thrusters.
Lead and execute complex repairs, overhauls, installations, and commissioning activities both independently and with teams.
Act as a technical expert , supporting customers and engineers in the field and ensuring smooth service execution.
Work closely with service coordinators and clients, taking ownership of final reporting and technical documentation.
Travel extensively worldwide (approximately 170 days per year) to deliver expert service on‑site.
What You Bring to the Team
Strong technical knowledge and experience with propulsion systems, and mechanical engineering .
A background in marine engineering or a related technical field .
The ability to work independently and lead teams during complex service operations.
Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
A customer‑focused, problem‑solving mindset with a commitment to quality and safety.
A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
