Job Description & How to Apply Below
The internet runs on power that must never fail. And that power? We take care of it.
The people behind the internet aren't only engineers. First Case works on the critical power infrastructure of data centers and is growing fast. During your internship you stand right in the middle of the technology that keeps data centers running, you really pitch in on site, with short lines and often a prospect of a permanent spot after your studies. This internship is for applied-sciences and university students;
if you're at vocational level, there is the BBL work-study track.
The essentials:
Salary:
Internship allowance
· 40 hours per week
· Internship
· Based in Wateringen.
You receive a fair internship allowance, indicatively €400 to €650 per month depending on your level and the stage of your studies, plus a travel allowance.
What you bring
You are studying electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a related technical field at applied-sciences or university level
Technical curiosity: you want to know how things work and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty
You are eager to learn and reliable, and work well in a team
Driver's license B is a plus, since you ride along to sites
Dutch or English
What we offer
You work directly in the largest data centers in the world, not in a practice room
You earn your VCA safety certificate at First Case's expense
Guidance from a dedicated practical mentor who teaches you the trade
An introduction to NEN 3140 and the systems from Eaton and Schneider Electric
A look into international work, as First Case operates across Europe
If it clicks: a path to a technical role, for example towards engineering or work preparation
“As an intern I was already in data centers that the largest tech companies in the world depend on. That is where you really learn the trade.”
· Former engineering intern
