Product Engineer

Location: 's-Hertogenbosch

Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for a Product Engineer to enable European pre-sales and post-sales system solutions activities. Two primary focuses are supporting Sales / FAE standard product configuration solutions and managing customized OEM configuration life cycle. The Product Engineer will work closely with customers to win projects, collaborate with different departments such as Sales, FAE, Lab, RMA…etc. to provide a smooth operation.

The position is located in our European office in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support Sales/FAE for Standard Server and OEM system business practices.
Provide support to define customer requirements, develop and drive localized/customized server products to full product life cycle.
Support product configuration. Check validation for customer orders.
Lead cross-function teams for post-sales supports such as RMA, failure analysis, ECO implementations, etc.
Provide documentation and technical know-how to support Standard and OEM system production lines.
Coordinate, monitor and control of all works related to project documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree a big plus.
3+ years administrative experience in a fast-paced environment, computer/server/system manufacturing preferred.
Interested in or possess basic IT products & technology affinity.
Attention to detail, self-motivated & ability to do highly accurate work consistently, multi-tasking.
Superior communication and teamwork skills.
Fluency in English required, B2 or better in Dutch, and additional languages (German, French, Mandarin, etc.) preferred.
Expert user in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
Able to work flexible hours engaging Asia and US teams.
Travel 10-20% on short notice.
