The Mechatronic Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing and validating mechatronic subsystems with a strong focus on electrical design, motion control and PLC‑based machine control.

The role operates within multidisciplinary project teams and contributes to the development of complex industrial machinery. The engineer ensures that designs meet functional specifications, machine safety standards, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities   Translate specifications into functional designs and control concepts (PLC, motion, safety).
Design and document electrical systems, including schematics and I/O structures.
Develop, test and maintain PLC‑based control software.
Implement and optimize motion control solutions.
Test and validate systems against functional and safety requirements.
Analyze and resolve technical issues and machine failures.
Support Assembly & Testing, Service and Project Engineering teams.
Work in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Contribute to system architecture and concept development.
Participate in integration and commissioning activities.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Support standardization and continuous improvements.
Interface with suppliers and stakeholders.
Qualifications   Bachelor or Master degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
3–5 years of experience in machine building or mechatronic systems.

Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Beckhoff, B&R).

Experience with motion control systems.

Experience with electrical design tools (e.g., EPLAN).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Willingness to travel occasionally.
