Overview Peraton requires a Project Manager to support the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. This position is located at Hurlburt Field, FL.
The SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) provides USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (Net Ops); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end-user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services.
The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operates around the globe 24x7x365.
Responsibilities Plans, leads, and manages personnel responsible for the organization s portfolio of projects and maintains efficiency of important project management aspects such as planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessment.
Develops and executes against project objectives by collaborating with the customer on needs and goals, project proposals, project plans, and intermediate execution status.
Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, and reviewing bids from contractors.
Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards, completing technical studies, and preparing cost estimates.
Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
Determines and maintains project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, sequencing project elements, and maintaining project schedule.
Controls project plans by reviewing designs, schedule changes, and recommending actions.
Controls project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, and recommending actions.
Responsible for technical/operational leadership of a project/mission within the programmatic guidelines set by the program manager and customer.
Defines, generates, and reviews project requirements documentation; performs technical studies to refine project requirements.
Monitors projects to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
Some positions may require shift work or an ability to work a non-standard work schedule to support the USSOCOM mission.
Minimum Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience.
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Highly Desired Qualifications Must be DoW 8140 compliant under the Work Role Code 802 – IT Project Manager - Intermediate level or higher by 1 Oct 2026.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is desired.
Prior experience managing IT projects is desired.
