Engineering Project Lead

Alara-Lukagro develops and delivers tailor‑made noise control solutions for industries such as industrial, maritime, energy, and construction. They manage the entire process, from sales and engineering to production and installation. Their solutions include acoustic enclosures, containers, ventilation systems, doors, and silencers— offering a technically diverse environment with plenty of variation and challenge.
The role  As an Engineering Project Lead, you will join the engineering department at Alara Lukagro and report to the Manager Engineering. You will work within a multidisciplinary team of engineers and specialists and be responsible for the technical execution of projects.
You will collaborate closely with various departments and operate within multiple project teams. In this role, you will lead engineers and ensure that customer specifications are translated into concrete technical solutions, including 3D models and 2D production drawings.
You will monitor project progress from a technical, financial, and quality perspective. This includes maintaining control over hours, costs, and quality, and making adjustments where necessary. You will continuously work on improvements and ensure that all solutions comply with internal engineering standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations. Working according to the Plan‑Do‑Check Act cycle is second nature to you.

Your profile   You are a technically strong professional with a solid sense of overview and collaboration.
You know how to engage and guide people while ensuring projects run in a structured manner.
You hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent level) in Mechanical Engineering and have experience in designing technical products and leading engineers.
You have experience with Autodesk software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Vault Pro, and Advanced Steel.
You are proactive, solution‑oriented, and able to maintain oversight under pressure.
Strong communication and listening skills are essential to successfully deliver projects.
As Alara‑Lukagro operates internationally, a good command of the English language is required. German is a plus.
