Vacancy information  Our client is looking for an Electrical Engineer Energy Solutions to join their Energy Solutions department—an innovative team dedicated to creating smart, sustainable power systems. In this role, you’ll translate client requirements into tailored energy solutions for projects such as grid-limited distribution centers, energy-autonomous office buildings, and advanced energy storage systems for the horticulture sector.
As a key member of the department, you’ll be involved from start to finish: handling technical preparations, collaborating on system design, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting quality control through to final delivery. You will create detailed electrical drawings and functional descriptions, assist project management with specifications and updates, and ensure seamless communication between systems using protocols like Modbus TCP within EMS environments.
You’ll work closely with the commissioning and project management teams to turn concepts into fully functioning systems.

What do you need   MBO or HBO (associate or bachelor’s) degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in sustainable energy systems
Skilled in creating electrical schematics and technical documentation

Experience with EMS, SCADA systems, and communication protocols such as Modbus TCP
Proficient with design tools like EPLAN, AutoCAD, or SEE Electrical
Strong attention to detail, structured working style, and clear communication skills
Familiarity with safety standards such as NEN 3140 and IEC 62040
Able to write clear manuals and functional system descriptions
