Vacancy information
As an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing electrical and instrumentation solutions throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept and detailed design through commissioning and start-up. You will work closely with engineers, technicians, safety specialists, and external suppliers to deliver safe, reliable, and future-proof technical solutions. In addition, you will contribute to installation reliability, identify improvement opportunities, and support the safe operation of electrical systems.

What do you need

Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, or a comparable discipline.

Experience as an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer within an industrial environment.

Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, including functional safety, EMC, and low-voltage installations.

Experience with process instrumentation, control systems, and low-voltage power distribution.

Familiarity with the design and implementation of electrical and control system modifications.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Able to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.

Proactive and hands-on approach to engineering challenges.

Good communication skills in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.

Preferred

Experience with commissioning and start-up activities.

Experience designing electrical and control panels, drive systems, pumps, and process installations.

VOL-VCA certification.

Certification as Installation Responsible Person (IV) and/or Work Responsible Person (WV), or willingness to obtain it.

Radiation Protection training or willingness to complete the required training.

Interest in or willingness to further develop knowledge of specialised process technologies.

Experience working in highly regulated or safety-critical environments
