Your Role
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? NG Bailey is on the lookout for a passionate Commissioning Manager with a strong background in MEP/building services projects. In this pivotal role, you will lead the commissioning process, ensuring that our installed building services operate flawlessly and align with the design intent.
This is a staff position that involves travel across our North East, Yorkshire, and Scotland regions, with occasional opportunities to work at other sites.
Your
Key Responsibilities
Safety First: Champion health and safety leadership, ensuring a visible commitment to safety in all project activities.
Lead the Charge: Oversee commissioning management on all projects, driving best value design and technically excellent installations.
Collaborate & Support: Provide commissioning advice across the business and actively promote our commissioning management capabilities.
Reporting: Prepare monthly project reports for senior stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and resource issues.
Commercial Insight: Advise on commercial progress and corrective actions against the project plan.
Documentation Management: Ensure commissioning documentation aligns with NG Bailey standards and manage activities accordingly.
Scope Definition: Assist in defining work scopes for external commissioning and water treatment appointments.
Build Relationships: Foster strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to enhance collaboration.
Continuous Development: Support the regional commissioning manager in delivering CPDs to maintain team competence.
Compliance: Apply current legislation regarding building regulations, safety, and environmental issues.
What We’re Looking For
Extensive experience in building services installation and commissioning.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Significant experience in commercial management on commissioning projects.
