Job Description & How to Apply Below
You bring engineered metallurgy to the engineers who need it.
Shockwave Clad is one of the few manufacturers worldwide of explosion-bonded clad plates and bimetallic transition joints, including Cryo Clad®, engineered for cryogenic service down to liquid-hydrogen temperatures.
Your mission: expand our network among the companies that can apply these solutions. Think industrial gas majors, EPC contractors, shipyards and smelter operators. You hold technical conversations with cold-box designers, materials and welding engineers about eliminating dissimilar-metal welds, the classic failure point in cryogenic and aluminium-to-steel connections. Then you turn that position into approvals, specifications and orders.
What you bring:
An engineering background (materials, metallurgy, mechanical or process)
5+ years of technical business development in metals, welding, pressure equipment or cryogenics
A hunter's mentality: a network and a name that is recognised in the sector
Fluent English;
Dutch, German or French a plus
What we offer:
A key commercial role in a niche, high-barrier market with very few competitors worldwide
The chance to be in at the start of a worldwide growth market: short lines, fast decisions, no corporate layers
Competitive salary + bonus, company car, pension, hybrid working from Schijf (NL)
