Guide the public in an underground pharmacy museum?
Hostess, or host, of a very special museum:
Apothekersmuseum Kisters in Doorwerth. Built underground 15 years ago. You guide individuals and/or groups through this museum, you receive them, you think about making this special museum even more attractive, you are very well and professionally trained and supervised, you work together with other enthusiastic volunteers.
Some background in the Pharmacy world is not necessarily necessary; we have a lot of material (instruction film) to familiarize you with this matter. It is nice if you can deal with groups in a pleasant way, can tell invitingly about the collection, and enjoy working with fellow volunteers. In our introductory meeting we will look for this, and if you need support/guidance, we will be happy to provide it.
Once you have been inside this museum, you will remember this unique collection in a special underground location with a sense of wonder. We grant many people this experience. The current volunteers see the pleasantly surprised looks of the visitors every time. You will be well guided and we will take your needs into account.
Time commitment: from a minimum of half a day per month to a maximum of 1 half a day a week.
The museum is located in the basement and can be reached by wheelchair. There is sufficient parking for cars and bicycles.
