Your day to day:

Prepares letters of confirmation.

Communicates reservation information to the front desk.

Processes cancellations and modifications and promptly relays this information to the front desk.

Understands the hotel’s policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows.

Processes advance deposits on reservations.

Tracks future room availabilities based on reservations.

Helps develop room revenue and occupancy forecasts.

Assists in preregistration activities when appropriate.

Monitors advance deposit requirements.

Handles daily correspondence. Respond to inquiries and make reservations as needed.

Ensuring that the systems have timely, complete and reliable information.

Ensure that all data are carefully and correctly entered in the system.

Collect and track commercial information.

Provide information to the organization; providing various (ad-hoc) reports, answering questions, etc.

Ready to land this internship?

The internship is part of your school program

Excellent communication skills in English and preferably also in Dutch. Another language is always a plus.

You have a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy working with people

Good communication and organizational skills

Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Opera is a plus

A well-groomed and professional appearance that represents our brand with confidence
