This role, ATC’s Data Centre Technician, plays a critical role in the installation and upkeep of cabling to guarantee seamless operation of hardware networks, including equipment and server/router rack decommissioning. The position offers advancement opportunities toward supervisory or team leadership roles, with comprehensive training and mentorship provided.

- Attend customer sites as scheduled, following all safety, security, and operational procedures.
- Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain fibre and copper cabling infrastructure.
- Perform cabling activities in server racks, including patching, dressing, and cable management.
- Conduct routine inspections of IT, server, and network equipment.
- Install, relocate, disconnect, and decommission network, server, and storage equipment.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, including laying additional fibre and copper cabling.
- Maintain accurate records, complete daily reports, and update stakeholders on work progress.
- Deliver excellent customer service and communicate professionally with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
- Understanding of networking concepts, cabling standards, and best practices.
- Experience installing and troubleshooting structured cabling (copper and fibre).
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools such as OTDR, VFL, and power meters.
- Basic understanding of networking hardware, including routers and switches.
- Strong organisational, problem‑solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Email.
- Language proficiency: C1 level in English. Proficiency in another European language would be advantageous.
- Prior experience in a data centre, logistics or construction environment.
- Ability to be flexible and travel for work.
- Right to work in the EU/EEA. Visa sponsorship not available.
