Senior ERP Application Manager

Job Overview

An international vaccine manufacturer is seeking an experienced Senior ERP Application Manager to support the management, optimisation, and further development of its SAP/AFAS application landscape. In this key role within the Information Management team you will ensure reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement of business‑critical ERP systems supporting Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, and HR. You will act as the link between the business, IT, and external vendors, translating business requirements into functional solutions while supporting implementations, upgrades, integrations, and compliance activities.

• Act as SAP Subject Matter Expert (SME) and ambassador for application support.
• Translate business requirements into functional SAP solutions.
• Manage incidents, changes, releases, and testing for ERP systems.
• Support SAP implementations, upgrades, and system integrations.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external suppliers.
• Support validation, compliance, and audit activities.
• Contribute to ERP optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.

• HBO/Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant SAP ERP experience within a complex organisation.
• Proven experience as a SAP SME.
• Experience with multiple SAP ERP modules, specifically FI/CO, SD, MM, QM/QA.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external suppliers.

• Experience with AFAS.
• Experience with MES.
• Experience with LIMS.
• Experience with in a GMP/GxP regulated pharmaceutical environment.
• Experience supporting HR processes.
• Experience with in a manufacturing environment.

• Hybrid Working:
  Minimum 3 days per week onsite.
• Contract:
  
  Permanent, 40 hours per week.
