Maintenance Engineer

A well established manufacturing organization operating high volume production lines with a strong focus on operational excellence, reliability and continuous improvement. The site environment is hands on, shop floor driven and performance focused.

The Maintenance Engineer focuses on improving machine and line reliability to structurally reduce unplanned downtime and increase OEE. Working directly on the shop floor, this role translates technical analysis into sustainable improvements. The position works closely with an Performance Excellence specialist to deliver integrated operational and technical results.

• Reduce technically caused unplanned downtime on production lines
• Improve and refine preventive maintenance strategies
• Optimize line balancing from a technical perspective
• Lead troubleshooting activities and structural root cause analyses
• Implement and strengthen Tier 1 problem solving within maintenance
• Coach maintenance technicians and technical operators
• Actively contribute to Tier 2 performance meetings
• Translate OEE loss analysis into concrete improvement actions
• Manage execution of technical and process improvements
• Support cross departmental collaboration between maintenance and operations

• Minimum 5 years experience as Maintenance or Reliability Engineer in a production environment
• Strong experience with OEE analysis and loss analysis
• Proven capability in root cause analysis and preventive maintenance
• Solid technical background with understanding of production equipment
• Strong process management skills
• Hands on and shop floor oriented mindset
• Experience in FMCG or high volume manufacturing preferred
• Ability to lead change and improvement programs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
